1. Introduction & Invitation to Bid

Al Mustafa Welfare Trust Pakistan invites qualified and experienced contractors/vendors to submit a quotation for the Supply, Installation, and Commissioning of 100 Shallow Handpumps in various districts of Punjab, Pakistan.

The project aims to provide sustainable clean water access to vulnerable communities. Bidders are expected to provide a complete solution, including all materials, labor, transportation, and supervision as per the specifications and terms outlined in this document.

2. Project Overview

• Project Title: Provision of 100 Shallow Hand pumps in Punjab.
• Locations: The hand pumps will be installed across multiple districts, including but not limited to: Bahawalnagar, Miachunnu, Khanewal, Muzaffargarh, and Jalalpur. Specific site locations with GPS coordinates will be provided upon contract award or with help of selected vendor experience
• Scope of Work: The contract includes the complete installation of 100 hand pumps, each up to a depth of 70 feet, as per the technical specifications below.
• Contract Duration: The successful bidder must complete the installation of all 100 hand pumps within 90 calendar days from the date of contract signing.

3. Detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for 100 Units

Bidders must quote a firm price for each item in the table below. The quote should be inclusive of all costs (materials, labor, transportation, taxes, etc.).

4. Quotation Submission Requirements

Bidders must submit their quotation in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the RFQ Number. The submission must include:

1. Duly filled and signed BOQ with total amount.
2. Company/Individual Profile: Including years of experience, similar projects completed (with references and contact details).
3. Technical Proposal: Brief methodology for installation and quality control measures.
4. Proof of Registration (if applicable).
5. Any other relevant information

5. Technical Specifications & Quality Standards

• All materials, especially the handpump mechanism, must be new, durable, and of high quality, suitable for heavy daily use.
• The UPVC pipes used for casing must be of food-grade quality.
• The boring must ensure the tapping of a clean aquifer, and the platform construction must prevent surface water contamination.
• The bidder must comply with all local municipal and environmental regulations.

6. Additional Services (Optional)

The quoted price must also include the following non-negotiable deliverables for each of the 100 sites:

• Site Assessment: Pre-installation assessment of the geographical area.
• Community Verification: Coordination with AMWT Pakistan for the identification of vulnerable beneficiary households.
• Documentation:
• GPS Coordinates: Accurate GPS coordinates for each installed handpump.
• Media Coverage: High-resolution digital photographs and short videos (before, during, and after installation) for each handpump.

7. Terms & Conditions

• Payment Terms: Payments will be linked to milestones or satisfactory completion and submission of all deliverables.
• Warranty: A minimum 12-month warranty is required on the entire handpump installation against any manufacturing or installation defects.

• Rejection: AMWT Pakistan reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations without assigning any reason.
