Rural Development Organization (RDO) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing social protection, women’s empowerment, community resilience, and sustainable development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. RDO collaborates with national and international partners to implement inclusive development initiatives, with a strong focus on gender-responsive programming, governance, and protection.

Position Summary

RDO is seeking a qualified and motivated female Program Officer to support effective implementation of the RAISE Project in Charsadda. The position requires strong field coordination, reporting, community engagement, and program management skills. The Program Officer will play a key role in activity planning, ensuring beneficiary outreach, and maintaining smooth coordination with community stakeholders, government line departments, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Implementation

• Support planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities as per work plans.
• Coordinate regularly with field teams to ensure timely delivery of activities.
• Facilitate beneficiary identification, verification, and participation in project interventions.
• Assist in organizing trainings, awareness sessions, and community-level engagements.

2. Community Coordination

• Maintain close liaison with community leaders, women groups, CBOs, and local influencers.
• Promote women’s participation in project activities, ensuring gender-sensitive facilitation.
• Conduct community visits, follow-ups, and mobilization activities.

3. Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare progress reports, field visit reports, and case studies.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, beneficiary data, and supporting documents.
• Provide weekly and monthly updates to the Program Manager/Project Coordinator.

4. Monitoring and Compliance

• Ensure activities adhere to donor requirements and organizational policies.
• Support the MEAL team in data collection, beneficiary tracking, and field verification.
• Identify challenges during implementation and propose practical solutions.

5. Coordination With Stakeholders

• Liaise with district-level departments, partner organizations, and project committees.
• Represent RDO at local coordination forums, meetings, and community gatherings.
• Ensure timely communication of project updates to stakeholders.

6. Safeguarding, Protection, and Ethics

• Uphold RDO’s safeguarding, child protection, and protection-from-abuse policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of beneficiary information and project data.
• Promote safe, respectful, and inclusive practices during all engagements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Gender Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant program implementation experience in an NGO/development setting.
• Strong communication, community engagement, and mobilization skills.
• Experience in reporting, documentation, and coordination with field teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently, travel frequently within the district, and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of gender-sensitive programming and local cultural dynamics in Charsadda is an asset.

Contract Duration

Initially for one year, extendable based on performance and project needs.

Salary: 62000 PKR
