Role & Responsibilities
- Facilitate mapping of Technical, Vocational Education Training institutes and mobilize youth for the enrolment at training institute
- Facilitate conduction of baseline, midline and end line and need assessments and impact studies
- Conduct social mobilization sessions, Broad Based Community Meetings on the importance of vocational training with community organizations/ groups
- Complete trainees’ identification, assessment, and verification process and profiling
- Identification of youth for various technical and vocational courses
- Liaison with District Administration and other Government departments/Stakeholders
- Strong Coordination with TEVTA office and Institutes at district level for successful implementation of project activities
- Understanding about market trends and demands for job placement of trainees
- Coordination with potential Employers to ensure job placement of trainees
- Well aware about the role of Civil Society Organizations and coordination with the CSOs
- Elaborate all needs-based inputs and all other activities according to the objectives of the program
- Facilitates the capacity building and setup of representative committees
- Arrangements and participation in kits distribution and maintain all type of data in both hard and soft
- Supports in distribution of Kits/materials for trainees
- Preparation of monthly action plans on specified format and submission to the Project Manager
- Participation in fortnightly and monthly progress review and action planning meeting at implementation Office
- Any other task assigned by the Supervisor
Relevant Qualification, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum Master’s degree in Master’s degree in Social Sciences (Social Work, Sociology, Rural Sociology, Gender Studies, Economics) or relevant.
- At least 03 years of relevant professional experience in development sector.
- Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel and power point)
- Networking skills with demonstrated experience of working in challenging conditions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent Communication skills, both interpersonal and written
- Integrity and confidentiality
