Reporting to: Academy Manager

The cricket coach will be responsible for providing professional coaching and training to cricket players at the academy. They will design and implement training programs, assess player performance, and develop individual and team strategies to enhance skills and performance. The coach will create a positive and inclusive training environment, fostering player development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective cricket coaching programs, focusing on technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of the game.
• Conduct training sessions to improve players' cricket skills, including batting, bowling, fielding, and overall game strategy.
• Assess players' abilities, strengths, and weaknesses to provide personalized coaching and tailored training plans.
• Organize and supervise practice sessions, drills, and match simulations to enhance players' game understanding and decision-making abilities.
• Foster teamwork, discipline, and fair play among players, promoting a positive and respectful training environment.
• Provide feedback, guidance, and mentorship to players, motivating them to reach their full potential.
• Monitor and evaluate player performance and progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other coaches, trainers, and support staff to optimize player development programs.
• Plan and participate in competitive matches, tournaments, and tours as required.
• Stay updated with the latest coaching techniques, trends, and developments in cricket, continuously improving coaching methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with child protection, safety protocols and maintain a safe training environment.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to player development, training sessions, and match performance.
• Ensure to proper maintenance of the grounds/academy and make sure all assets and coaching equipment are well-kept and secure.
• Any other task assigned by the manager.
