Trainer for One-day training on Team Building Skills and Effective Planning.

HelpAge International is a global network of organizations promoting the right of all older people to lead dignified, healthy, and secure lives. HAI brings together a wide range of organizations and individuals working together to ensure that older people lead dignified, active, healthy, and secure lives. HelpAge International Pakistan office provides technical as well as substantive advice and capacity building to national and international NGOs as well as government agencies on aging, inclusive Humanitarian and Development actions. Secure income and livelihood, Health and care, Humanitarian and resilience and Policy advocacy are the main thematic areas of work for HelpAge.

HelpAge International Pakistan is looking to engage a trainer/facilitator/training firm to conduct 1-day training on team building and effective planning, organized for all staff in Nathia Gali.

Objective

The objectives of the training are:

• To foster stronger relationship and cohesiveness in teams.
• To strengthen team bonds by improving communication and encouraging active listening, fostering understanding and unity.
• Equip team members with problem-solving techniques and strategies to identify, analyze, and resolve challenges efficiently, fostering a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles.
• To improve team communication effectiveness.
• Enhance planning and organizational skills by providing tools and methodologies for setting clear goals, prioritizing tasks, and creating actionable plans, empowering the team to work efficiently and meet deadlines consistently.

 Scope of the Work

The consultant is required to undertake the following tasks:

• Facilitating interactive training session that incorporate a variety of techniques to address each objective. This could include presentations, group discussions, experiential learning activities, role-plays, and case studies.
• Designing and facilitating team-building exercises and activities to promote stronger relationships and cohesiveness within the team. These activities should encourage collaboration, trust-building, and empathy among team members.
• Introducing tools and methodologies for setting clear goals, prioritizing tasks, and creating actionable plans.

Timeframe:

The trainer/facilitator/training firm needs to complete all the mentioned deliverables on May 15, 2024 from 9:00 AM till 5:00 PM.

Terms and Coditions:

• All the travel expenses and accomodation (if required) will be borne by the trainer/facilitator/training firm.
• Training material except stationary items and multimedia will be provided by the trainer/facilitator/training firm.
• Payment will be processed after completion of the training as aggreed during contract.

Qualification

Education:  Post-graduate degree in social sciences and other relevant fields.  

Experience:

• Minimum university degree in Social Science or other relevant field;
• Extensive experience (at least 5 years) experience in completing trainings/workshops for organizations
• Extensive knowledge of civil society sector in Pakistan  
• Extensive experience on building capacities
• Excellent inter-personal communication skills including experience of facilitation of trainings/workshops and presentation;
