A public health consultancy firm is looking for a skilled and hardworking Admin and Accounts Assistant for its Karachi office. This position is initially for one year, with the possibility of extension based on the continuity of the project.

 

Job Description

 

  1. Handle general office administration tasks, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  2. Manage banking tasks such as cash withdrawals, deposits, and other bank-related activities as needed
  3. Ensure proper filing and documentation of all office records (administrative & financial), maintaining an organized and accessible filing system
  4. Prepare monthly timesheets for all staff, ensuring they are signed and submitted on time.
  5. Manage petty cash and submit the reports every week
  6. Ensure safekeeping of all originals receipts and sending them to head office on monthly basis
  7. Coordinate with District Coordinators on logistic matters
  8. Managing and tracking rental vehicles in Karachi, including movement planning, day-to-day allocation, verification of logbook, and monitoring of fuel consumption
  9. Manage office supplies inventory, placing orders, and ensuring adequate stock levels
  10. Coordinate and organize meetings and workshops, including venue arrangement, scheduling and communication with participants
  11. Responsible for taking care and upkeeping of office belongings
  12. Visit to Project Areas on need basis to keep check and balance of project activities in the field level
  13. Any other responsibilities as directed by the Admin & Accounts Manager and senior management.

 

Qualifications

  • Applicants must have Master’s degree or four years Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably Business Administration/Management) from a recognized University
  • A minimum experience of 3-4 years in Admin & Accounts Department in developmental or private sector is required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and/or any relevant software
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to work in challenging environment
