Purpose of this Position |

The Programme Manager will lead the field teams in the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of GRC-supported projects in various disaster-prone communities of KP province. The programme manager will work in close coordination with the GRC counterpart to plan, design and implement and quality assurance of various activities to broadly achieve the agreed project objective. In doing so, s/he must adhere to PRCS/GRC standards, policies and regulations and will assure the highest standards of service delivery and accountability, thus contributing to the overall efficient and effective implementation of project activities to achieve the strategic objectives of PRCS in the province. |

Functions & Responsibilities |
||||
Overall: 1. Responsible for the implementation and all other relevant processes of the GRC supported projects, like financial supervision, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, in close coordination with the GRC Program Coordinator and PRCS Provincial Secretary and PRCS counterparts at district levels 2. Lead planning, designing and implementation of project activities to ensure the achievement of project results. This includes but is not limited to the development of the quarterly plan of actions, activity budgets, and cash requests. 3. Responsible to ensure the quality-of-service delivery and constant engagement with relevant stakeholders including line departments and the community through field monitoring 4. To prepare results based periodic narrative and financial reports for donors and PRCS 5. Ensure compliance to Protection Gender and Inclusion (PGI) standards during implementation of project activities 6. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required. Finance and Administration:

Eligibility Criteria |

Education |
§ A relevant masters or post-graduate degree; social sciences, disaster risk management, development studies, environmental sciences, project management. § A good understanding of Disaster Risk Management landscape of Pakistan, Strong project management and proven coordination skills. |

Experience |
§ Minimum of five years’ of mid-level managerial experience in relevant field preferably with thematic focus on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) or climate change adaptation. § Experience of working for a humanitarian aid organisation. § Red Cross/Red Crescent knowledge and experience |
