Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Works in line with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Principles.
  • Adheres to the Security rules and procedures.
  • Respects and observes the Staff Rules & Regulations of PRCS.
  • The employee may be asked to perform duties and tasks assigned by the management as well as to provide support to other departments if so required.
  • To read and know the Minimum Standard Commitments on Gender and Diversity in emergency programming, and the PRCS Strategic Framework on Gender and Diversity issues.
  • To promote gender and diversity awareness amongst all staff, volunteers and senior leaders and to assist in the capacity building of staff and volunteers to incorporate gender and diversity analysis into their daily work.
  • To further assist in mainstreaming gender and diversity in all the interventions under Health and WASH program
  • Play active role in order to suggest ways to enhance gender and diversity within the project
  • To develop and run training or awareness building sessions within existing projects
  • To liaise with and seek support from the National Society Gender Focal Point through email/Skype/Telephonically.
  • To actively participate and contribute to the working of National Society gender focal person at Headquarter level and provide feedback regarding activities updates and priorities.
  • To develop and strengthen local partnerships with gender and disability organizations.
  • To engage in peer-to-peer support by providing help to one another
  • To be informed about opportunities to improve the status of women, girls, boys and men, including funding opportunities, partnership opportunities, and advocacy opportunities.

Education

  • Master in Gender Studies, Gender and Development, Social Sciences or equivalent

 

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience.
  • Excellent reporting and communication skills.

Competencies

  • Fluency in Urdu, English and Pashto.
  • Flexibility to travel to conduct field visits for coordination purposes
  • Good command on Microsoft Office (word, excel & power point)

Age Limit

  • Maximum age limit 40 Years

Domicile

KP (preference will be given to local candidates)

Salary

PKR 70,000/-
