Position Objectives:The position contributes to increase the capacity of Staff & Volunteers to integrate protection, gender and inclusion policies and tools across program areas in order to reduce gender and diversity inequality, gender discrimination and gender- based violence. The position would provide technical support in mainstreaming Protection, Gender and Diversity analysis, considerations into all programmes and services. |

Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities: |
Assist in mainstreaming of PGI and in consolidating efforts for PGI in response to emergencies |
|

|
Contribute to training/coaching and development of the PGI staff and volunteers at National and provincial level. When needed, provide support to PHQ PGI Focal person in conducting capacity-building activities for staff and volunteers. |
|
Contribute to identifying PGI success stories to promote &Liase with COM unit. |
|
Conduct field levels conflict sensitivity analysis exercise with relevant stakeholders and ensure programmes “Do no harm” in their communities. |
|
Ensure gender, age and diversity analysis is done and updated regularly to respond to beneficiaries needs. |
|
Conduct and document gender and diversity analyses and assessments of operations and identify best practices |
|
Assist Line Manager in various assessment of ongoing activities, including the identification of potential and existing strengths that can be advantage to improve access to women and girls and other marginalized groups: report will highlight lessons learned, key regional bottlenecks and potential solutions. |

Ensure hierarchy is duly and timely informed of the key activities, challenges and/or any operational developments. |
|
Contribute to the awareness raising sessions to ensure buy-in, understanding of the concept of equality, inclusion, how it relates to project activities, impacts program and project response. |
|
Assist line manager to support to other programs for the assessment of PGI risks, vulnerabilities, needs and capacities to support DRR, Health and Disaster Response programming. |
|
Contribute to updating stakeholder mapping and ensure MoM of meetings conducted and shared timely with team. |

Education |
|
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Law, Gender Studies. |
