Project Officer

Location – Chitral ( 2 Positions Male & Female )

Preference will be given to local residents.

  

General mission

The project officer contributes to the implementation of his/her project, ensuring the optimal quality and the impact of the project. S/he works closely with the programme technical team.

 Missions / responsibilities

 Mission 1: Operational implementation

Responsibility 1: Contribute to project planning and implementation in line with the existing frameworks

  • Contribute in the planning of Project interventions in the target district/s and implement the action plan in conjunction with the support services of project management team.
  • Coordinate with the key Project stakeholders at provincial and district level, both of public and private, ensure the implementation of interventions in line with the project work plan. 
  • Ensure that activities are implemented and that resources are correctly allocated as authorized by the Project Manager.
  • Ensure regular reporting of field activities, and contribute to the internal and external reporting as requested by the project manager.    
  • Ensure that project documents and information are properly archived.

Responsibility 2: Contribute to project monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning

  • Contribute to project monitoring, specifically activity progress indicators and the expected outcomes.
  • Facilitate the data collection from project area within district and as defined by the Project Manager and MEAL department  on prescribed monitoring tools
  • Contribute to project evaluations at the request of the project manager, and ensure that project evaluation recommendations are followed.
  • Contribute to the setup and smooth running of accountability mechanisms.
  • Contribute to project learning.

Responsibility 3: Ensure project data management

  • Ensure that the appropriate data collection of project interventions including meetings, trainings, advocacy initiatives, and other, by utilizing the standard developed tools of project & MEAL unit.
  • Provide relevant information in compilation of quarterly reports and facilitate Project Manager and MEAL. 

Responsibility 4: Contribute to the coordination of project teams

  • As authorized by the project manager, facilitate coordination meetings between the project teams and stakeholders , at province and district level.
  • Facilitate the project Manager in organizing the meetings with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the Project Manager in smooth implementation of the implementation of the project in the target districts   area and work as a team player for better engaging with other team members.

Qualification: gradate in social science or relevant degree

Experience :  5 Years
