U.S. Mission Pakistan is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the Supply Clerk (Receiving) position in U.S. Consulate General, Karachi.

Basic Function of the Position – The incumbent of this position is responsible for the ordering, receiving and documenting the receipt of all official shipments and locally purchased supplies as well as for the organization, cleanliness and inventory levels of expendable & non-expendable property. The incumbent performs physical inventory to meet audit requirements, maintains required inventory documentation in Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS). This position is part of the Karachi Property and Supply team and reports directly to the Property and Supply Supervisor. 

Qualification Requirements:

Education: Completion of Secondary School (10 years of education) certificate is required.

Experience:  Minimum one year of experience in clerical and receiving work is required.

Job Knowledge: The incumbent must have ability to gain general knowledge of office operations and terminology. Must have excellent knowledge of filing and record keeping procedures.

Skills And Abilities: The incumbent must have ability to work independently. Individual must have basic office automation knowledge like MS-word, MS-Excel e-mails etc.  Excellent knowledge of filling and record keeping is required. Typing speed minimum 20 WPM is required. Must have valid Pakistani driver’s license for Motor Car/Jeep. Applicants must show the proof of minimum of five years of licensed driving experience. Skills and abilities may be tested.
