The Poverty Graduation of Extremely Poor and Flood-Affected Households (PGEP) is a US$134.2 million project jointly financed by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the Government of Pakistan (GoP). The four-year project is being implemented under the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety (MoPASS) in 25 of the poorest and flood-affected districts of Pakistan. The project supports the Government’s development priorities under Uraan Pakistan and is aligned with the IsDB Food Response Programme and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a focus on reducing extreme poverty and economic vulnerability, promoting sustainable livelihoods and employment, and strengthening the resilience of poor and vulnerable households to climate-induced shocks.

Job Description:

  • Provide routine administrative and clerical support to the PMU.
  • Maintain project files, registers, records and official correspondence.
  • Assist in preparation, printing, scanning, photocopying and dispatch of project documents.
  • Support arrangements for meetings, workshops, trainings and other project activities.
  • Maintain records of office stationery, supplies, equipment and assets.
  • Facilitate movement and delivery of official documents and correspondence.
  • Assist project staff in day-to-day office management and coordination.
  • Ensure proper filing, record keeping and confidentiality of official documents.
  • Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

 

Qualification and Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree will be preferred.
  • Preferably 3 years of relevant experience in office administration/clerical work.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic office equipment.
  • Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
