Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan, is looking for a competent Quality Assurance Officer based at Project Offices in Astor, Diamer, Kharmang, Shigar, Skardu, Ganche and Gilgit.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Monitoring & Supervision

  • Conduct regular supervisory visits to supported health facilities and outreach sites.
  • Monitor compliance with SRHR, FP, and MNCH service delivery standards.
  • Use standardized quality checklists and supervision tools for assessments.

Capacity Strengthening

  • Support implementation of quality improvement plans at facility level.
  • Provide on-site coaching and mentoring to health providers on quality of care and client-centered approaches.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate with the project team for capacity-building activities.

Data, Documentation & Reporting

  • Review service delivery records, registers, and reporting formats for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support analysis of quality-related indicators and identify gaps.
  • Prepare supervision reports, findings, and actionable recommendations.

Coordination & Accountability

  • Liaisewithdistricthealthofficesandfacilityin-chargestopromoteownershipofqualitystandards.
  • Support implementation of grievance redressal and client feedback mechanisms.
  • Ensure ethical standards, confidentiality, and respectful care principles are upheld.

Expected Deliverables

  • Monthly supervision and quality assessment reports.
  • Facility-level quality improvement action plans.
  • Documentation of best practices and lessons learned.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Nursing /Health Sciences, Diploma in Lady Health Visitor (LHV) /Midwifery.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in health program implementation or quality assurance. Experience in SRHR or FP program is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and observation skills.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within assigned districts.
  • Results-driven, ethical and adaptable professional with a strong service and stakeholder focus.
  • Strong integrity with the sensitivity to manage confidential information.
  • Demonstrates superior organizational skills and the agility to multitask and assume changing strategic responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Possesses strong integrity, intellectual humility and demonstrable expertise in navigating ambiguity and constant change.
  • It shows resilience, flexibility and perseverance, especially during challenging periods.
