The Management Information System (MIS) Officer at Secours Islamique France (SIF) will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's data management and analysis needs. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the MIS infrastructure to ensure efficient data collection, storage, analysis, and reporting. The MIS Officer will work closely with project teams and MEAL to provide accurate and timely information that supports decision-making, project monitoring, and evaluation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in database management and data analysis, coupled with excellent communication and training skills. The MIS Officer will ensure the integrity and security of data, facilitate capacity building within the team, and contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of SIF's projects.

Key responsibilities include managing databases, generating reports, providing technical support, ensuring data quality, and training staff on MIS-related tools and processes. The MIS Officer will also play a key role in coordinating with various stakeholders to meet project data needs and ensure compliance with data protection policies and regulations.

As part of SIF's commitment to humanitarian and development work, the MIS Officer will contribute to the organization's mission by leveraging technology and data to enhance the impact of its projects. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Management Information System (MIS) Officer

-        Create and manage centralized database for projects of SIF Mission Pakistan in the MIS.

-        Collect weekly, monthly databases from all bases and consolidate into report format as per donor or organization requirements.

-        Data Cleaning and Data consolidation by ensuring quality data processing and identifying and addressing issues with data collected.

-        Update and optimize database according to project need, maintain the dash boards for projects in MIS and MEAL reporting.

-        Extract data/report from database in understandable formats as per project /departments needs

-        Manage database in MS ACCESS, MS EXCEL and MEAL MIS and support MEAL Manager in consolidating follow up sheets of each project PMP on monthly bases.

-        Provide support to program bases for printing verification sheets, training attendance, payment sheets and tokens.

-        Update and modify database as per program / output tracker document requirements.

-        Provide support to MEAL Manager in compiling unique beneficiaries’ detail of Balochistan project activities by using IDs of each beneficiary.

-        Prepare and implement data protection policy and protocols and train SIF staff to ensure the data protection.

-        To assist MEAL in developing database for different assessments/monitoring formats

-        To assist MEAL Manager on reporting different indicators and output tracker as per reporting deadlines.

-        Provide training to project field team on new templates/databases and assigning unique IDs to beneficiaries during identification or selection process.

-        Responsible for managing and processing all the data related to projects or program beneficiaries.

-        Ensure beneficiaries' personal data and information is protected and archived in safely manners.

-        Train data management staff on data safe handling, protection and management of data privacy

-        Should be able to respond to any other related task assigned by line manager
