U.S. Mission Pakistan is seeking applications from qualified individuals for Training Coordinator position in U.S. Embassy, Islamabad.

Basic Function of the Position – The incumbent is responsible to assist the Human Resources Officer (HRO) in administering the Mission Training Program. Responsible for training and development of all embassy personnel (except agencies), including content sourcing, development, and delivery. The incumbent is also responsible for tracking and reporting on training completion. Provides assistance to the Post Language Officer in managing the Post Language Program (PLP), either in-house or contracted out. The incumbent is responsible to provides consultation and support to any unit or section that may require special training program designed for their team members, e.g., team building, field specific training, etc.). Formulates training budget and identifies creative training solutions to meet Post personnel needs. Serves as Post’s coordinator for the LE Staff Adjunct Faculty Trainer program in order to grow and expand Post’s adjunct faculty trainers by communicating with the Regional Training Centers, Foreign Service Institute (FSI), etc., and facilitating interested employees with their submissions, and their post-selection process, role, and other needs. The incumbent assists with the coordination and logistics of trainings held at post and maintains logistics files including but not limited to travel, hotel, transportation arrangements, etc., for visiting instructors and students from other posts. The incumbent is also responsible for coordinating and delivering the LE Staff Orientation Program.

Qualification Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: Minimum three (3) years of human resources experience including one (1) year working with training programs or as a training instructor or in training and development is required.

EDUCATION: Completion of college or university studies (14 years of education) is required.

Job Knowledge: The incumbent must have good general working knowledge of administrative procedures, practices and knowledge of training options, methods, systems and resources.

LANGUAGE: Level III (Good Working Knowledge) Reading/Writing/Speaking in English and Level IV (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing in Urdu are required. English language skills may be tested.

Skills And Abilities: The incumbent must have intermediate ability in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Must be detail orientated and have strong oral communication and interpersonal skills. The incumbent must be able to work under pressure and as that of a team. Skills and abilities may be tested.
