Position Summary:

This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in HR practices and support the department in daily administrative tasks, employee engagement activities, and recruitment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support:

    • Assist in maintaining employee records and HR documentation.
    • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing onboarding materials and conducting orientation sessions.
    • Help organize and maintain HR files, both electronic and physical.
  2. Recruitment:

    • Post job advertisements on job boards and social media platforms.
    • Screen resumes and schedule interviews.
    • Assist in coordinating interviews and communicating with candidates.
  3. Employee Engagement:

    • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities and events.
    • Help distribute company communications, such as newsletters and announcements.
  4. HR Projects:

    • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, providing research and administrative support as needed.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  5. General Support:

    • Answer employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
    • Assist in maintaining the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
    • Support the HR team with various ad hoc tasks and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards learning and contributing to the team.
