Role Outline:
The Curriculum Development Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with the program/project team to prepare and refine curriculums and TLMs. This individual will bring a wealth of expertise in the field of curriculum development and other training materials, ensuring that the materials meet industry standards and effectively prepares students for successful careers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Program/project team to understand their skill training requirements and standards.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of existing course materials and identify areas for improvement, enhancement, or integration of new content.
- Research industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and up-to-date.
- Develop and design course materials, including lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and learning resources.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and industry professionals to gather input and validate curriculum content.
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles and preferences.
- Review and refine learning objectives to align with desired learning outcomes and industry expectations.
- Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies, including experiential learning and technology-enhanced instruction.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of the curriculum to measure its effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
- Monitor and track industry developments, regulatory changes, and accreditation requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on curriculum development progress and outcomes.
Job Requirements:
- At least a master’s degree in Education, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in instructional design, or curriculum development.
- Experience of working on content development & in training and development of adult education
- Knowledge of various approaches to education and training, blended learning, and traditional & non-traditional education.
- Demonstrable competence and experience required in traditional learning, needs assessment, training design, development, delivery, and evaluation is required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive and organized approach to multitasking.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Good command on MS office (word, excel, PowerPoint).
