A national organisation is looking for a experiemced , competent and qualified candidate for the position of field officer in education based in DIK.

Job Description:

The Field Officer will serve as a pivotal member of the School for All (SFA) team, actively involved in the execution of initiatives aimed at bolstering the resilience and inclusiveness of education systems in their respective districts DIK, Swat, and Nowshera, with a particular emphasis on marginalized populations, especially girls and children with disabilities. The Field Officer will work closely with communities, partner organizations, and local authorities to ensure the successful implementation of project activities.

  • Execute detailed project plans in alignment with project objectives, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and adherence to timelines.
  • Coordinate and oversee field activities, including but not limited to community engagement, procurement, and logistics, to ensure smooth implementation of project interventions.
  • Monitor project progress in the field, identifying potential risks or challenges, and proactively implementing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, fostering strong relationships with government officials, community leaders, and partner organizations.
  • Conduct outreach and engagement efforts with marginalized communities, particularly girls and children with disabilities, to understand their needs and ensure their active participation in project activities.
  • Advocate for the adoption of policies and practices that promote educational resilience and inclusiveness at the grassroots level, amplifying the voices of marginalized populations.
  • Share insights and lessons learned from field experiences with project stakeholders, contributing to the continuous improvement of project interventions.
  • Represent the project in relevant forums and networks, actively participating in discussions on education resilience and inclusion.

 Qualifications and Skills:

Master's degree in Education, Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in project implementation or community development, preferably within the education sector.
  • Knowledge of local education systems, policies, and challenges, with a focus on the targeted regions in Pakistan.
  • Demonstrated experience working with marginalized communities, including strong empathy and sensitivity towards their needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English and Urdu; familiarity with Seraiki is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently in field settings, often in remote or challenging environments.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Candidate with Disability will be given preference if meeting the required criteria.
