Location: Head Office Islamabad (will require frequent visits to the field areas)

Job Summary:

The Project Manager for Bano Qabil (AJK) will be responsible for leading, managing, and expanding the Bano Qabil digital skills training program across Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The role requires a dynamic leader with expertise in project management, education, and IT-based training initiatives. The Project Manager will oversee program implementation, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and impact assessment to ensure the success of the initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for Bano Qabil’s expansion in AJK.
  • Ensure timely execution of training programs, workshops, and skill-building activities.
  • Oversee curriculum design and alignment with industry trends in IT, freelancing, and digital skills.

2. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Recruit, train, and manage instructors, trainers, and administrative staff for the program.
  • Provide leadership to ensure efficient operations and high-quality training delivery.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and student success.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships

  • Collaborate with government bodies, universities, IT companies, and freelancing platforms for enhanced training opportunities.
  • Establish partnerships for student employment, internships, and freelancing opportunities.
  • Facilitate leadership of in arranging meetings, events, and networking forums in AJK.

4. Program Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Set and Implement KPIs to measure the success and impact of training programs.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on program progress, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Gather feedback from students, trainers, and industry professionals for continuous improvement.

5. Community Engagement & Awareness

  • Lead awareness campaigns to promote Bano Qabil in schools, colleges, and communities.
  • Organize seminars, boot camps, and career counseling sessions to attract more participants.
  • Ensure inclusivity, particularly encouraging women’s participation in IT training.

6. Financial & Resource Management

  • Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and funding utilization.
  • Work with the Alkhidmat Foundation’s finance team to ensure transparent and accountable use of funds.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

1. Education & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, IT, Education, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of IT training, digital skills development, and freelancing platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

2. Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, education, IT training, or nonprofit initiatives.
  • Experience in managing youth skill development or entrepreneurship programs is a plus.
  • Prior engagement with government, corporate, and educational institutions is desirable.

3. Technical & Soft Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and basic IT skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute outreach and promotional strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
