Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for competent Dental Surgeon for Aga Khan Diagnostic Center, Chitral.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Surgeon to diagnose, treat, and manage oral health issues requiring surgical intervention. The ideal candidate will have experience performing a variety of procedures of general dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics and complex oral surgeries, while ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform surgical dental procedures including extractions, root canals, implants, orthodontics, and corrective surgeries.
  • Diagnose oral diseases and conditions through clinical assessments, X-rays, and diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and discuss comprehensive treatment plans with patients.
  • Maintain patient records, treatment histories, and consent documentation.
  • Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists as part of an integrated care approach.
  • Educate patients on oral health, post-operative care, and preventive measures.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and infection control standards.

Required Skills Education, Experience & Competencies

  • Minimum BDS degree with valid PMDC license. Preference will be given to MCPS/FCPS/FCPS-II-Trained
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and patient management skills.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations with composure.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Commitment to continuing education and staying current with best practices.
