ZMK & Co. is seeking applications from qualified and motivated professionals for the Position of District Coordinator under a donor-funded education sector reform program in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. These positions are purely on a contract basis with fixed salary packages. Only candidates who have domicile certificates from the project districts are eligible to apply. Females are encouraged to apply.
Purpose of the Position:
The District Coordinator will be responsible for leading the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of donor-supported education initiatives at the district level, including Early Childhood Education (ECE), Accelerated Learning Programmes (ALP/NFE), Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), and data systems. The role will ensure effective community engagement, capacity building of education actors, data management, and coordination with stakeholders to enhance education access, quality, and accountability.
Brief Job Description:

Lead and manage education initiatives at the district level, including ECE, ALP/NFE, FLN, PTCs, and data systems.

Coordinate with project teams, supervise field staff, and ensure quality delivery of interventions.

Mobilize communities, establish volunteer structures, and strengthen ownership of education initiatives.

Organize and oversee training, mentoring, and capacity building for teachers, facilitators, and community actors.

Conduct baseline surveys, track out-of-school children (OOSC), and ensure timely data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Manage supplies, maintain records, and ensure smooth operational support at the district level.

Monitor program sites regularly, document progress, and facilitate donor and third-party field visits.

Conduct community feedback meetings, represent donor-supported programs in district forums, and share lessons learned.

Perform additional tasks assigned by the Project Manager to support successful program delivery.
Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification:
An advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies or any other related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience working with communities.
- Must have demonstrated experience of community mobilization and stakeholder participation.
- At least one year of proven experience working in any education grant with NNGO/INGO.
- Must have good knowledge of working methodologies of the education department
