Qualification Requirements

• A University degree in RS & GIS, Geoinformatics or Space Science
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Digital Image Processing, Infrastructure mapping, Field data collection,
• Working experience related to design, supervision, and monitoring of Land Use/Land Cover Base Map, Economic Development, Road network, Socio-economic projects.
• Working experience in team management, field mobilization and survey planning
• Working experience with OSM data, Google Maps, imagery data automation, GeoNode
• Strong spatial database management and spatial data QA/QC skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English. Spoken Urdu and Pashto is desirable
• Experience working in Khyber, KP and similar geographic conditions

Job description

• GIS Expert will be working closely with KP govt., client, field teams and digitizers to ensure delivery of land use base map and socio-economic data within the given deadlines.
• Ensure seamless coverage and data QA/QC. Project field survey planning, monitoring daily data entry of digitizer and field survey team,
