Scope / Purpose of the Position:

  •  To oversee cash flow planning, prepare and review budgets, taxation management and track and report financial operational metrics (KPIs)
  • To analyze latest financial trends and create Return on Investment (ROI) forecasting models for current and future PRCS programs
  • To devise and implement financial risk management methods

Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities:

  •  

Oversee Cash Flow Management, Taxation and Lead the annual Budgeting and Planning process; Review and Administer all financial plans and budgets; Monitor the progress and changes as required

  •  

 Present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements to PRCS Management and Managing Body as required.

  •  

Closely work with Legal and concerned stakeholders to ensure Financial Compliance within the organization. Coordinate internal and external Audit and Compliance activities.

  •  

Inform key stakeholders of financial status and investment plans. Represent PRCS to investors and public officials

  •  

Ensure all financial operations comply with local laws and Accounting records systems are maintained in accordance with standard Finance procedures. Update and implement all necessary Finance policies and practices; periodically update PRCS Finance manual

  •  

Supervise the Finance department to ensure smooth day-to-day transactions

  •  

Report on financial deficiencies to Secretary General and make recommendations to mitigate risk and cost savings

  •  

Analyze latest financial trends and track Finance KPIs. Ensure successful digitalization of PRCS Finance systems across the board

  •  

Develop ROI forecasting models for current and future programs at PRCS

  •  

Prepare Financial Reports for PRCS and Donors’ Funding grants. Maintain funding grants reporting calendar due dates and submissions, including all required financial deliverables as stated per Donor’s funding grant awards and contracts

  •  

Any other Internal Finance related tasks assigned by the PRCS Secretary General and Chairman

Education

 

MBA/Masters’ Degree in Financial Accounting or Financial Management from a recognized National/Foreign Institution.  ACCA/CFA/CA or relevant accreditation is mandatory.

Experience

 

At least 07 years of overall Finance experience with minimum 03 years as a Head of Finance/CFO role. Experience in a humanitarian organization will be preferred.

  • Good Knowledge of local laws, rules and regulations
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
