Position Objective:
The HR Compliance Consultant will report directly to the Senior Director FOC & HR. The objective of this position is to effectively assist the Senior Director FOC & HR with the Human Resource Functions of the project in compliance with local labor laws and Company policies and procedures.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Ensure accurate and timely timesheet submissions, and that staff are familiar with, timesheet procedures and policies.
- Ensure personnel and recruitment files are maintained according to Company policies and procedures and in a manner that ensures confidentiality.
- Assist Senior Director FOC & HR and ensure procedures are communicated and followed.
- Assist with training and development of current and newly hired staff on Company policies and procedures.
- Assist Senior Director FOC & HR in making HR policies and operating procedures and disseminating and training staff on proper implementation.
- Assist the Senior Director of FOC & HR on communication to staff and labor law compliance and help to ensure a positive and thriving work environment for all staff.
- Perform administrative and logistical tasks as and when required.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in the related field required; Master's degree strongly preferred.
- At least five 3-5 years of relevant experience. USAID experience preferred.
- Knowledge of local labor laws, ability to interpret local labor laws; previous experience interacting with labor counsel preferred.
- Demonstrated versatility, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail, high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
