Position Objective:

The HR Compliance Consultant will report directly to the Senior Director FOC & HR. The objective of this position is to effectively assist the Senior Director FOC & HR with the Human Resource Functions of the project in compliance with local labor laws and Company policies and procedures.  

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

1. Ensure accurate and timely timesheet submissions, and that staff are familiar with, timesheet procedures and policies.
2. Ensure personnel and recruitment files are maintained according to Company policies and procedures and in a manner that ensures confidentiality.
3. Assist Senior Director FOC & HR and ensure procedures are communicated and followed.
4. Assist with training and development of current and newly hired staff on Company policies and procedures.
5. Assist Senior Director FOC & HR in making HR policies and operating procedures and disseminating and training staff on proper implementation.
6. Assist the Senior Director of FOC & HR on communication to staff and labor law compliance and help to ensure a positive and thriving work environment for all staff.
7. Perform administrative and logistical tasks as and when required.
8. Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in the related field required; Master's degree strongly preferred.
2. At least five 3-5 years of relevant experience. USAID experience preferred.
3. Knowledge of local labor laws, ability to interpret local labor laws; previous experience interacting with labor counsel preferred.
4. Demonstrated versatility, integrity, and confidentiality.
5. Strong attention to detail, high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
6. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
