Role Overview

As an Orthopaedic Professional specializing in Orthotics and Prosthetics, you will be responsible for the assessment, design, fabrication, and fitting of medical supportive devices (orthoses) and artificial limbs (prostheses). You will play a vital role in restoring mobility and improving the quality of life for patients with physical disabilities or musculoskeletal injuries.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients physical condition and mobility needs through gait analysis, muscle testing, and range-of-motion measurements.

• Take precise measurements and casts of patients' limbs to create custom-fitted orthotic or prosthetic devices.

• Collaborate with the technical team (including the Prosthetic Technician) to ensure devices are manufactured according to exact clinical specifications.

• Perform diagnostic fittings to ensure the device is comfortable, functional, and correctly aligned; make necessary adjustments based on patient feedback.

• Instruct patients on the proper use, maintenance, and care of their new devices to ensure long-term success and safety.

• Conduct follow-up appointments to repair, adjust, or replace devices as patients' physical needs change over time.

Requirements 

• Education: BS 4 years in Orthotics and Prosthetics from an HEC-recognized university.

• Experience: Minimum 01 year of post-qualification experience in a clinical or workshop setting.

• Age Limit: 24–35 years.

• Proficiency in plaster casting, CAD/CAM for O&P, and material science (plastics, carbons, metals)

• Attention to detail.

• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, biomechanics, and gait analysis.
