Role Overview
As a Nutritionist Fellow you will be responsible for providing evidence based nutritional counseling and dietary planning to patients to improve patient outcomes through specialized metabolic and nutritional support.
Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, including anthropometric measurements, biochemical data review, and clinical history.

Design personalized meal plans and nutritional interventions tailored to specific medical conditions (e.g., pediatric nutrition, geriatric care, or rehabilitation support).

Educate patients and their families on healthy eating habits, portion control, and the relationship between diet and recovery.

Track patient progress through regular follow-ups and adjust dietary protocols as necessary to meet health goals.

Participate in multidisciplinary case meetings to integrate nutritional therapy with physical and behavioral rehabilitation programs.

Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records regarding patient assessments and dietary interventions.
Requirement

Education: BS (4 years) in Nutrition and Dietetics from an HEC-recognized university.

Experience: Minimum 01 year of post-qualification experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

Age Limit: 24–35 years.

Strong understanding of medical nutrition therapy (MNT).

Ability to work compassionately with patients requiring long-term care.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English/Urdu).
