U.S. Mission Pakistan is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the “Administrative Assistant” position in U.S. Embassy, Islamabad.

Basic Function of the Position – The incumbent supports the 11-person International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) Police Assistance (PA) Program team at U.S. Embassy in Islamabad by performing administrative and logistical tasks. Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating training logistics, supporting project management, and drafting reports. The role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and clerical skills, the ability to work independently, strong problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The incumbent also handles customer service for the PA team, addressing internal and external client needs efficiently.

Qualification Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: Minimum five (5) years of office administration and/or administrative processing duties and work experience is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Police Program Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills for engaging with host government officials, visitors, and the public in person, online, and over the phone. Excellent time management abilities are crucial for handling diverse tasks and meeting deadlines. Experience or familiarity with Pakistan law enforcement operations and training programs is advantageous. Skills and abilities may be tested.
